Wildlife Viewing Platform
The 600′ universally accessible boardwalk at Beaver Hollow ends at a 12’x8′ wildlife viewing platform, funded by the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation Animal Assisted Therapy Fund. The platform is dedicated to the memory of Cordelia Anne Brinton, who found great comfort in spending time in nature and watching wildlife. The platform features two seating areas- a corner bench, and a 7′ long bench- that provide a view directly across the wetlands to a Great Blue Heron rookery. Bring a camera and/or binoculars on your visit, or just sit awhile and experience the peaceful ambiance of the wetlands and surrounding forest. Beaver Hollow is open every day for your enjoyment
