The Friends are thrilled to introduce our membership to two Northland College student interns who are working at Beaver Hollow over the summer session. They are assisting with the installation of the last section of boardwalk, conducting forestry projects, and learning about wetlands.
Cecilia Manno is a rising senior majoring in geology. She is originally from Pennsylvania and was introduced to Wisconsin as a student at Conserve School. Cecilia enjoys swimming and skiing, and has served as the President of the Northland College Ski Club. She loves geology and outdoor recreation, and is dedicated to sharing her deep regard for the area with others. |
