Tree Planting Event 2026
Sign up to volunteer at Beaver Hollow for either, or both, of the spring tree planting events – a one-day event on May 2nd, and/or a two day event held Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th.
- Saturday, May 2 – We’ll plant 50 bare root walnut trees.
- Friday, May 8th, and Saturday, May 9th, we’ll plant swamp white oak and Prairie Expedition American elm whips.
The REGISTER HERE link allows you to sign up for one, two, or all three days of the event. Volunteers should dress for the weather and bring work or garden gloves. Waterproof footwear will likely be needed this time of year. The Friends will provide all planting equipment as well as lunch and drinks. We’ll start at 9 am each morning, and break for lunch in the pavilion at noon. We appreciate your advance registration for the event, which enables us to contact you for your sandwich preference.
