Snowshoe Trail Open at Beaver Hollow

Snowshoe trails are open at Beaver Hollow, thanks to members Mark and Sam, who waded through 4′ drifts of powder to compact two snowshoe trails last week. The longer trail follows the same path that has been marked the past several years. This year, a shorter trail was added for those who have less time, or energy, to spend snowshoeing. Both trails start at the end of the boardwalk and loop back to the start. The shorter trail turns to the left about 300′ past the end of the boardwalk. As you walk, watch for animal tracks, and for creatures sheltering under the boardwalk. You never know what you might see!
