Bill Volkert, The Great Blue Heron: Life History, Research and Management, 7 pm

Bill Volkert, renowned naturalist and educator, and one of the foremost authorities on the Great Blue Heron in the Midwest, will present, “The Great Blue Heron; Its Life History, Research and Management,” on Thursday, July 21st at 7pm, at the Beaver Hollow pavilion. Volkert will introduce the entire family of herons and egrets and then focus on the great blue heron. He’ll share highlights of his work at Wisconsin’s largest rookery at Horicon Marsh. This event will also be presented at 2 pm on Thursday.
