The Friends received a generous grant award from The Norma & Stanley DeBoer Quiet Trails Fund of the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin for additional interpretive signage at Beaver Hollow.

2020 Programs Rescheduled
Beaver Hollow Dedication
Although the Friends are eager to officially “introduce” the Beaver Hollow Outdoor Education Area to the public, we have, in the best interest of the health of our community members, decided to reschedule our grand opening until June of 2021.
Bobcat and Trumpeter Swan programs
We are pleased that both our 2020 spring presenters have graciously agreed to reschedule their presentations for Spring 2021.
Nathan Roberts, Furbearer Research Scientist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, will present a program on Wisconsin’s secretive bobcats, and Sumner Matteson, WDNR conservation biologist and avian ecologist, will discuss Wisconsin’s Trumpeter Swan recovery efforts, in our next winter speaker series scheduled for winter 2021.
