May 2nd Road and Garden Cleanup 2025

EVENT RESCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY MAY 2nd AT 10 AM DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.
An unexpected early morning snow will delay our road cleanup one more time – from Earth Day to May 2nd.
The FNPCW adopted Compton Road in 2016 through the Town of Russell’s “Adopt a Road” program, and volunteers have since cleaned up trash along the road each year on Earth Day – weather permitting. This year our Earth Day cleanup event will also include an optional opportunity to rake the garden to get ready for the emergence of spring flowers, and a few other spring cleanup chores.
Join us as we gather at 10 am in the Beaver Hollow parking lot on Friday, May 2nd at 10 am.
We’ll provide trash bags and fluorescent vests. Bring your own gloves and wear appropriate footwear.
