2024 Annual Meeting

On Thursday, October 10th, the Friends of the North Pikes Creek Wetlands will hold its Annual Membership Meeting at the South Shore Brewery Taphouse at 5:30 pm. Pizza will be served, and the 2024 Membership Meeting will be held. Following the meeting, Wildlife Biologist for the Washburn Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Brian Heeringa, will update us on the ongoing sharp-tailed grouse reintroduction and habitat improvement project at the Northwest Sands management area.

Members are encouraged to attend and help guide the Friends’ work to protect the wetlands of North Pikes Creek, and to make recommendations for 2025 activities and speakers.
